NEW PLAYERS WELCOME - Become a Razorback

If you have been searching for a new football home and have a genuine desire to play in finals football at a young, energetic and driven club in Hawthorn - The Swinburne Univeristy Amateur Football Club is the team to play for.

Our goal this year is to win the premiership, and we have an excellent chance as we are dropping divisions this year. Our club prides itself on maintaining a highly social and disciplined outfit, with the focus on enjoying our football.

If you know of any qualified to be a Trainer or who has a level 2 first-aid certificate, and can be available Thursday nights for 2 hours and Saturday afternoons from 1:30pm to 4:30pm please get in contact with them

Swinburne forward blasts seven

ROYDON Hurst led Swinburne University to a thumping first-up win in VAFA Division 4 on Saturday.

The talented forward kicked 7.4 as his side thrashed Eley Park by 53 points, 17.19 (121) to 10.8 (68), at Whitehorse Reserve.

Mat Bonomi was also among the goals, with three, while Daniel Hassaballa kicked two.

Mitchell Hodgson claimed best-player honours, for his impact on the outcome, while David Beattie enjoyed a solid game as did Darcy Higgins.

Swinburne now faces Point Cook in Round 2 action this Saturday.
